What is the cost?

Physiotherapy

Initial Consultation Cost (up to 1 hour) : $90.00

Subsequent Consultation Cost (up to 45 mins) : $80.00

Group Physiotherapy Consultation (min/max of 3 people after an Individual Initial Consultation) : $50.00 per person


Physiotherapy - Medicare/DVA/NDIS

EPC/CDM Initial Consultation: $37.05 gap 

EPC/CDM Subsequent Consultation: $27.05 gap 

Department of Veteran Affairs: Bulk Bill 

NDIS Initial & Subsequent Consultation Cost (up to 1 hour): as per Service Agreement 


Extras

Dry Needling: Included in consultation price 

Taping: $5.00 per area during a consultation 

Theraband: $5.00 per metre 

Do I need a referral?

No referrals are needed to book an appointment as a private-paying patient. A referral from your GP is necessary for DVA and Chronic Disease Management (formerly Enhanced Primary Care) rebates. Please contact us or your GP for further information regarding these rebates.

What is the Chronic Disease Management Scheme and am I eligible?

Medicare has created a scheme where patients suffering from chronic conditions (chronic low back pain, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, obesity, diabetes, asthma etc) are able to receive partial rebates of $52.95 for up to 5 x treatments of physiotherapy per calendar year. You need to discuss this with your local GP to determine eligibility. Be sure to have your doctors referral with you at time of appointment.

Fees after rebate: Initial Consult Cost: $37.05, Subsequent Consult Cost: $27.05.

As the name implies, Central West Mobile Physiotherapy has a broad service area within Central Western NSW including Orange, Blayney, Canowindra, Molong, Forbes and surrounds. Give us a call today to find out if your town or community are in our service area.

How do I pay?

You can pay with cash, via cheque or with our Mobile HICAPS eftpos terminal.

Will my private health insurance cover physiotherapy?

This depends on your level of cover. Contact your Private Health Fund for more information. If you are eligible, your rebate may be able be paid on the spot with our HICAPS terminal or by visiting your health fund with your receipt.

Can I purchase equipment through you?

Yes, equipment can be purchased through us. Let your physiotherapist know what you need and we can organise the rest. 

Should I bring my X-rays, CT Scans, MRIs or Ultrasounds?

Yes, any imaging or information regarding your medical history would be very useful in determining how to best treat and manage your condition.

What if I am running late or I can't make an appointment?

Let us know as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an appointment and we can organise another time to book you in when it suits.
